How it's made


We strive to grant you the highest quality Italy can offer.  Our entire supply chain is based in the outskirts of Milan in a ray not exceeding 7kms. Banuia's main concern is  to provide you with clothes exclusively made from high-quality eco-friendly dyed natural fabric. Every single bit of our product is entirely manufactured in Italy, from the Yarn used to bring to life our fiber, to the tags used to engrave the Banuia logo onto the sewing of hoodie

At the moment, considering the sanitary emergencies we've exclusively prioritized  Italian industries so that we can provide a direct contribution to our country economy.
HEMP: 70% of our mixed fiber is composed by this incredible natural textile. 

Hemp is a natural plant fiber that grows without the need for harmful herbicides or pesticides. It also replenishes the soil quality decomposing itself in only 2 weeks’s time.

Not only does Hemp create low carbon emissions but it is also capable of capturing carbon emissions from the atmosphere 



It is ECO-FRIENDLY certified, meaning our suppliers uphold a strict set of production standards that keep the whole ecosystem in mind.
Organic cotton refers to non-genetically modified cotton grown without polluting fertilizers or pesticides. Producing organic cotton is also meant to help promote and enhance biodiversity in the environment.



Dyeing and printing operations are the process of imparting colour to the substrate using dyes, inks, pigments 
Our hoodies are environmentally friendly dyed in respect of worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers. Thy bear in mind ecological and social criteria and are backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. 
Our certification also includes Inspection of the chemical inputs (dyes and auxiliaries) and accessories used and the assessment of their compliance with the applicable criteria of the certification . Inspection of the wastewater (pre-)treatment 



Our yarn is produced by our supplier in full respect of the the ECO-FRIENDLY certification  which is a certified mix of Hemp & Organic cotton.


 It looks and feels like plastic, but it's not. Not even close. It is a 100% home-compostable shipping mailer and is made from 70-80% PBAT (a completely compostable co-polymer) and 20-30% PLA (just a fancy way of saying cornstarch).
In a commercial compostable environment, it will break-down within 90 days. At home, it may take up to 120 days.
